Gilgamesh

Story: Once a general in Exdeath's army, his incompetence and his numerous defeats at the hands of Bartz and friends has caused exdeath to simply send him to the void, where he would be an interdimensional wanderer seeking the legendary excalibur but at every turn somehow ends up getting the excalipoor (any fan would know that this is a wimpy imitation of the true excalibur).

Personality:
-Cowardly (though he slowly loses this quality as he continued his existence after he was sent to the void)
-Somewhat lecherous
-Loves collecting weapons

-Blue Magic (Aera, Goblin Punch, Dischord, Hurricane, Death Claw, Missile, Rocket Punch, Stone, 1000 needles, Quasar, Aqua Breath, Electrocute)
-Geomancer Abilities (Windslash)
-Other Abilities (Terminate, Self-destruct, Sword/Blade Dance, Ultimate Illusion, perfect defense, bitter end, monarch sword, Zantetsuken (though it requires the blade of the same name))
-Able to use white magic (protect, haste, shell)
-Superhuman Strength
-Dragoon Abilities (Jump, Master Lancemanship)
-Master Swordsmanship
-Multiple Arms (sometimes six other times eight), Octa-wielding, septa-wielding.
-Able to use black magic (sleep, break)
-Able to use time magic(k) (disable, break)
-Limited use of the void (mainly used as means of interdimensional travel)

Exdeath

Story: Originally a tree that was used as sealed prison for the souls of thousands of demons, and then Enuo would be sealed away into that tree. Enuo's power was so great that when in combination with the power of the other demons, created a new life out of the tree in which they remained prisioner. That life would be Exdeath.

Personality:
-Arrogant
-Void-obsessed
-indifferent to the events around him in comparison to the other villains

Powers/Abilities:
-Incredible magical prowess (being able to use all the master level spells of FFV, before Bartz and friends were able to (as they had to collect tomes so as to  learn these spells): Holy, Meteor, Flare)
-Chainspelling (being able to use said spells one after another in succession and being able to do the same with weaker spells such as Thundaga, Firaga, Blizzaga)
-Unique abilities/Monster Abilities/Misc. Abilities (Vacuum Wave, White Hole, Grand Cross, Delta Attack, Black Hole, Sword Dance, Hurricane, Maelstrom, Almagest, Reverse Polarity)
-Able to create copies of himself (which are called Exdeath's soul)
-Special Magical Barriers (Shell Guard (able to block all magic attack), Protect Guard (able to block all physical attacks), Turn Guard (Able to block all but the most powerful of attacks), Omniguard (able to block all attacks, but has a very short duration))
-Skilled Swordsman
-Psychic powers (mind control, telekinesis (mainly for self-levitation))
-Power of the void (as means of transportation, dragging objects, people, and locations into nothingness)
-Superhumanly Strength

Bartz Klauser



Origins/History/Story: Starting off as an average freelancer with his pet chocobo, until a meteorite hit a nearby area. He would end up saving the princess of Tycoon, Lenna, as well as team up with her and one of the Four previous heroes of light, Galuf, and embark on a journey to save the world from that point.



Personality:

-Outgoing

-Carefree

-A good imitator (REALLY GOOD)



Powers/Abilities:

-Mime abilities in which allow him to use the weapons, powers, and skills of his comrades

-Strong affinity for the wind element

-Masterful magic prowess (as a result of white mage, black mage, time mage, red mage, summoner, necromancer and oracle abilities)

-Capable dual-wielder

-Capable hand-to-hand combatant

-Capable weaponsmaster (Best with a sword, not unlike Firion)

-Capable archer

-Empowering weapon(s) with elements or just magic making it/them more powerful

-Capable Summoner

-Dualcasting (Using one spell in succesion with another with quickness, lolz)

-Enhanced Strength (As a result of having the powers of a berserker, knight, monk, mystic knight, dragoon and gladiator)

-Ability to mind control monsters to his will

-Necromancer Abilities (raising the dead and use of the darkness affinity)

-Capable Chemist

-Geomancer abilities (Using the power of his surroundings as a means of magical offense without needing to spend magical energy but is limited in power based on his surroundings)

-Capable Canonneer

-Talented Bard and Dancer (the former's main ability is to be helpful to his allies in that it heals and gives buffs, while the latter focuses more on damaging and giving ailments to his foes)

-Skilled in the use of shurikens and other objects that are meant to be thrown

-Access to monster skills (Blue Mage abilities)

-REALLY good voice imitator (to such a point he can perfectly imitate not one, but four different girls (Terra, Tifa, Yuna, and Lightning) as well as all of his other alllies)

Something a little different

As I'm sure everyone who has been reading my blogs (no one at this point) knows, I really like dissidia as well as duodecim. So here are a few characters that I would like to be in the next Dissidia game, if there ever was one. I'm not gonna go in any real order cuz I'm just poopoo like that. Anyways on the thing:

1) Maria (From FFII)

Reasons:
-The Dissidia series needs more female characters
-Dissidia needs more old school love (although I can understand why they add candidates from FF1 and 3, because well, they're blank slates without anything really making them stand out from one another. But whatever, maybe they could use characters from the DS version of III but I don't really think of that as....oh whatever, moving on)
-What's one class of character that dissidia was missing? The archer/ranger. Yes, I know Firion has an HP attack that uses a bow and arrow as well as part of his bravery attack using the same, but the weapon he uses most is his sword, which compliments his character in FFII in which he was best at using a sword. We need a full-fledged archer character.

2) Izayoi (FFIVTAY)

-As I have said before, Dissidia needs more chicas

-Dissidia Also needs ninjas (or in Izayoi's case, kunoichis) (I know there's onion knight in his onion ninja form, but it isn't like his ninja form is a completely separate character, it's just his EX form, and in duodecim it takes longer to become and it doesn't even last half as long as it took to get it.)

-She's got a whip (oh yeah)

3) Lenna or Faris (FFV)



-Like before, Dissidia needs more girls

-If we had more female characters we could have a female version of Bartz, so Bartz doesn't have to copy Tifa, Yuna, Terra, or Lightning. It's.....weird to hear a guy PERFECTLY imitate a woman, much less four of them.

4) Edgar Roni Figaro or Sabin Rene Figaro

Reasons for Edgar

-We need a machine-man

-VI needs another candidate

Reasons for Sabin:

-MOTHERFUCKER SUPLEXED A GODDAMN TRAIN!!!!!

-Anyone noticed that the only two monk characters in Dissidia 012 are both female? (not that I have a problem with that although I'll be honest I believe a male and female character of each class should be in the next Dissidia game. And yes I am aware I am sounding like hypocrite right now in that I have said that Dissidia needs more ladies, although FFVI deserves to have a third candidate)

5) Genesis and/or Angeal

-These guys KICK ASS!!!!!!

-Sephiroth is cool, but I think these guys are truly underrated in comparison, and to see them in the next dissidia would be awesome

6) Quistis, Rinoa, or Selphie

-(Quistis) She's 18 and she's got a whip (oh yeah)

-(Rinoa) Well we have Tidus' dumber than grass girlfriend as well as Tifa's sexiness, so why not have Rinoa.

-(Selphie) We need a character who uses the NUNCHAKU!!!! HWOOAAAAA!!!

-And of course the obvious reason that Dissidia needs more chicks.

7) Garnet and/or Amarant Coral

-Well, Shouldn't Zidane's GF be in Dissidia? Not too mention the awesome summons that the unbelievibly dumb Yuna doesn't have.

-Amarant is a Monk-Ninja Hybrid, POW!!!!!!!!!

-Also, don't you think out of all the PS1 Final Fantasies, IX should have had a third candidate

8) AURON!!!!!!!!!!!

-HE'S BADASS!!!!!!!

-One of the only characters I can actually stand in FFX (the others being Kimahri, Jecht, and Lulu)

-I would REALLY like to beat Tidus' sorry ass with Auron

Update:
9) Seymour Guado

Why?:

-I'd like to have a chance to beat the shit out of him for being such a crappy villain

-It would make for a good opportunity to have Anima in a Dissidia game (saying that they'll make another one, knock on wood)

10) Dysley from Final Fantasy XIII

 

11) Cosmos (Ya, I know she's already in the game but can't there be a way to fight her)

-If Capcom can find a way to make Phoenix Wright playable in a fighting game, then why shouldn't Square Enix make Cosmos at least an NPC boss?

-I'd imagine she could have some badass moves

12) Zemus

 

Reasons:

-He's the real villain of FFIV (as I'm sure most of us know)

-Just imagine how awesome his fighting style would be...then again..

-Stuff...

13) A villain from Final Fantasy XI. Specifically The Shadow Lord.

 

Golbez



Origins: The oldest son of Kluya and Cecilia Harvey, older brother to Cecil Harvey. Real name is Theodore Harvey. The name of Golbez was given to him by the corrupted lunarian Zemus who had also mind controlled him.



Personality:
-Somewhat Cruel and Sadistic
-Somewhat shameful
-Helpful to the heroes to an extent



Powers/Abilities:
-Masterful in the use of Black Magic (Being able to use all them, even Flare and Meteor)
-Capable in the use of a Sword
-Moderate hand-to-hand combat prowess
-Dark Powers (rising wave, gravity force, and glare hand)
-Masterful use of laser nodes
-Psychic powers (using mind control on the ranks of Baron, Kain included, as well as an army of monsters. Telekinesis for his Genesis Rock attack and levitating himself, even doing both at the same time. Teleportation.)
-Cosmic Ray (Shoots out a short range stream of electricity)
-Skilled in the military applications of an Airship
-Capable summoner (Though only shown summoning a Shadow Dragon or a Gold Dragon)
-Access to the powers of the Shadow Dragon/Gold Dragon:
              -Binding Cold (an ability which encases the enemy/enemies)
              -Black Fang (Ability that can instanty knock out an opponent or leave them in a severely weakened state)

Equiment:
-Heavy armor
-Sword
-Laser Nodes

Kain Highwind



Origin: Former Dragoon captain of Baron. Cecil's Best friend and comrade-in-arms.

 Personality:
-Caring of his friends and comrades
-Regretful
-Somewhat doubtful of himself

 

Powers/Abilities:
-Masterful in the use of a Lance
-Enhanced Strength (particularly in his legs which allow him to perform incredible Jumps and powerful kicks)
-Minor power over wind
-Lancet (ability in which allows Kain to absorb his foe's energy by stabbing or slicing his foe with his lance)
-Holy Dragoon powers:
          -Empowering his limbs and weapon with light
          -Capable of using mid-level white magic

Equipment:
-Dragoon/Holy Dragoon Armor
-Lance
